There are plenty of ways to get involved and support the project going forward.
At the beginning of 2024, we will be creating four new community advisory panels that will work with our project team to help shape our plans. These advisory panels will be made up of members of our community and will ensure that our plans are inclusive, engaging and, most importantly, needed. If you would like to be part of our community advisory panels, email Claire, our Project Engagement Officer, on claire.slack@wiltshiremuseum.org.uk.
We would particularly welcome interest from people with lived experience of disability, young people, teachers, older people, people living in rural areas and people from ethnic minority groups.
We will soon be looking for project volunteers to help us with everything from setting up events to helping us with our social media. Check back here over the coming months for more information.
Got an idea for an event or activity you’d like to see during the Assizes for Devizes project or once the project is complete? There will be ways to leave your ideas and comments here very soon!
We’d also love to hear from any community groups, clubs or charities who might be interested in working together to co-produce events and activities as part of the Assizes for Devizes project.
